Professor Geof Tomlinson (Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, University of Sheffield)
Professor Tomlinson joined the University of Sheffield in 1995 as Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is currently the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research. Professor Tomlinson was awarded a DSc by the University of Manchester in 2001. His fellowships include the Royal Academy of Engineering, Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Royal Aeronautical Society, Royal Society of Arts and he is a member of several national and international committees.
