David Hobdey - Chairman
David currently serves on the board of a number of medical technology and other private and public companies. He has gained substantial experience working in an early stage development company environment, as a senior executive director of Tissuemed Limited,
a company involved in the development and sale of medical devices for cardiothoracic and other major areas of surgery. He has a broad background in corporate finance, having served as a director of corporate stockbrokers Henry Cooke Group and in the corporate finance division of Hambros Bank.
More recently, David led and formed a specialist corporate finance advisory division for Brown Butler, one of the largest independent firms of accountants in Leeds. He is a graduate in zoology of the University of Leeds and qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross (now Deloittes.)
