The Fund Manager advises the Board of the White Rose Technology Seedcorn Fund, chaired by Mr David Hobdey. The Board meets roughly every six weeks and considers investment proposals presented by the Fund Manager. The Board is responsible for supervising the activities of the Fund Manager and reporting to the Fund's shareholders (the Universities of York, Leeds and Sheffield).

The Board is comprised of ten people: a representative from each of the Universities of York, Leeds and Sheffield, the White Rose Consortium and Yorkshire Forward and five independent commercial non-executive Directors, including David Hobdey, Dr Andrew King, Neil Loxley, Dr Elizabeth Walmsley and Dr Julia Walsh.
